The Clima-Cell® unit has been constructed with customer satisfaction in mind for over 40 years. Our units employ state of the art design and manufacturing techniques to provide an economical custom manufactured air handling unit designed for many years of reliable operation.
       
  • The Clima-Cell® Base is structural steel I-beam or tubular steel fully welded with epoxy finish.
  • Clima-Cell® standard Sidewalls are double wall construction using a 2”thick 1.5lbs density insulation bonded between an embossed aluminum skin and a galvanized inner wall. Any popular insulation of various thicknesses maybe used if required. Additional skin selections of aluminum, galvanized and stainless steel, solid and perforated are available. ‘H’ shaped extruded aluminun channels securely hold the panels inplace and provide an additional structural component. A Thermal Barrier within the ‘H’ member eliminates metal to metal contact and air leakage. All joints are sealed and mechanically fastened. Optional smooth face tounge and groove construction is also available.
  • The Clima-Cell® Floor employs a 12 gauge walk-on fully insulated welded/sealed pan design, with 2” thick sprayed urethane insulation. All welded construction is available.
  • Structural Framing of fully welded and gusseted 1-1/2” x 1/8” galvanized angle is employed throughout the unit for additional strength and pressure capabilities.
  • Doors are constructed in same manner as the side walls with fully gasketed closed cell insulation, swing type latches and extruded aluminum frames. Safety windows are available. Access panels for equipment service and removal are available.
  • Vibration Isolation can be provided for all moving components. Seismic Isolation is also available.
  • The Clima-Cell® Roof is constructed in similar fashion to the sidewalls. Additional support steel is provided as required. Units to be installed outdoors employ a pitched roof. An optional industrial grade EPDM roofing membrane is available for exterior units.


    Single wall all welded or bolted construction is available with the IA-C Unit design.
